Our Vision

If you hang around New Life for any length of time you will realize that vision is what drives us. It has been stated,”Expect great things from God, do great things for God.” Attempting to make a lasting impact on the Kingdom of God is better than simply living for ourselves. Our vision is focused on a world that is looking for answers. We don’t claim to be perfect but we do know that at the center of every human is a God sized hole that must be filled in order for them to find the answers to life’s problems. It is our vision to be in the community touching lives on a daily basis by preparing our church family to actually “be God’s hands and feet” in their personal environment. The real work of the Kingdom is done when we exit the doors on Sundays & Wednesdays and enter the lives of a hurting world. So when you hear us say, “At New Life we do life together.” It’s more than a slogan, it’s the center of our vision. Join us and let’s see what God can do with us together to bring New Life to our world.

WE DO THREE THINGS WITH ONE RESULT

Worship – Connect – Serve – Grow

  1. Worship – We strive to provide inspiring worship experiences. We call them “experiences” because our goal is to passionately pursue the Presence of God and make much of His glory. Our worship services/experiences are designed to meet this goal.

  2. Connect –  The church of Jesus Christ is not a building or a location or even just a weekend experience. We believe that the church is people, and people were created to be in relationship. We engage in relationship and discipleship through our small groups system. For more information, check out our Life Groups.

  3. Serve – We are called to change the world. That is why we prioritize a global outreach strategy.

We Believe

God

We believe that Almighty God is revealed to us as one God in three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 1:18; I Peter 1:2; John 14:16,17

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the holy, inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God and is the highest authority by which our faith and practice is measured.  II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 24:35

Man

We believe that though man was created perfect, is now fallen into sin, and is unable to redeem himself.  Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-5, 12; Roman 5:12

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, born of a virgin, and sinless in His life. His death was vicarious and substitutionary for the redemption of fallen man. He fully died on the Cross, and, after three days in the grave, was bodily resurrected. He ascended to the right hand of the Father where He presently reigns. He is returing at the end of this age. His return will be personal and bodily, and it is imminent.  Matthew 1:18-23; Luke 1:26-37; John 1:14-18; I Peter 2:21-24; Romans 5:6-8; II Corinthians 5:15-21; Titus 2:14; John 1:29; Matthew 28:1-7; John 20:26-31; I Corinthians 15:12-20; Philippians 2:6-11; Matthew 24:36-44; Acts 1:10-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-16

Salvation

We believe in the necessity and availability of new birth by faith in Christ’s finished work.  John 3:1-16; I Peter 1:3, 23; Titus 3:5; John 1:12-13

Holy Spirit

We believe in the availability and need for personal empowerment by the ministry of the Holy Spirit resulting in availability of any and all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Matthew 3:11-17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; Ephesians 5:18-20

Eternity

We believe that at the end of the age there will be a resurrection of all men and a final assignment of eternal blessedness or eternal woe.  Revelation 20:11-15; II Thessalonians 1:9; Mark 9:42-28; Matthew 25:31-46
